OutBack's proprietary communication network enables all of their products to communicate with each other, providing a seamless setup and user experience across all components of an OutBack system.


OutBack's product line currently includes a variety of communication devices for maximum flexibility and control of renewable energy systems. OutBack's MATE product line includes the MATE, MATE2 and MATE3S devices, all of which make it easier than ever to program and monitor a complete OutBack Power system.

The HUB System Communications Manager forms the backbone of a networked OutBack power conversion system.


Remote monitoring of an Outback Power system is now possible using OPTICS RE. OPTICS RE allows system installers and owners to  monitor and control system settings from any internet connected device –  anywhere in the world. With real-time status and hands-on control,  track and manage individual system performance or a network of dispersed  systems. MATE3S is required for this.
MATE SYSTEM DISPLAY & CONTROLLER

The MATE system display and controllers are complete management tools for your OutBack Power system. Through the use of a single MATE you can remotely manage and monitor multiple inverter/chargers, charge controllers and monitoring devices.

The MATE 3s System Display and Controller makes it easier than ever to program and monitor your complete OutBack Power system. An intuitive user interface and integrated system configuration wizard make system setup and programming quick and seamless. The ability to set unique multi-level user passwords allows you to secure critical system settings from unintended changes while still allowing open access to necessary functions. Through the use of a single MATE3s you can remotely manage and monitor multiple inverter/chargers, charge controllers and DC monitoring devices.



The MATE-B and MATE2 are packed full of features to make system management simple. The easy-to-read 8 cm LCD is backlit for dark operating conditions. Four soft keys allow easy context-based navigation of menus and functions. Two hot keys give immediate access to AC and inverter functions.
A built-in clock and calendar function enables timer-based programming of inverter and charger operation. This permits you to set the system to work with time-of-day power rates or to limit a generator’s run time to a specific time period of the day or week. All of your settings are stored in permanent memory to eliminate the need to reprogram in the event of a system shutdown or battery replacement. The MATE-B and MATE2 include an RS232 port with DB9 jack for connection to the serial port of a PC computer. The MATE-B system display and controller is surface-mounted while the MATE2 is flush-mountable in a wall cut-out.




HUB 4 and HUB 10.3
The HUB 4 and HUB 10.3 System Communications Managers are the backbone of your networked OutBack power conversion system. The OutBack HUB communicates stacking, load share and power save on/off signals. Interconnection cabling is standard Ethernet CAT5 with RJ45 modular jacks. Through the use of a HUB, your system is completely coordinated and managed by the MATE.

Available with either 4 ports (HUB 4) or 10 ports (HUB 10.3).







AXS Port

Specifically designed for industrial and commercial customers, the SunSpec compliant AXS Port Modbus/TCP Interface provides advanced connectivity with OutBack FLEXmax™ charge controllers as well as other OutBack devices, enabling remote system status monitoring, command and control. With the AXS Port Interface, users can securely access an OutBack power system anywhere in the world via an Ethernet connection using Modbus Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), and communicate directly to a single device, or to multiple devices, using OutBack’s HUB4 or HUB10 communications management components.

ME-ARC50 REMOTE

The ME-ARC is designed to be simple to use while offering multiple functions in one place.
This advanced feature remote features a Favs button for storing up to five of your favorite setup menus, a Control button for fast easy control of the inverter, charger, and generator, meter button with AC and DC meters, advanced setup menus, and advanced tech menus.
Easy-to-read: The large LCD screen and at-a-glance LEDs display the inverter / charger status in a straight-forward way. Soft keys give simple access to menus and a rotary encoder knob makes it easy to quickly scroll through menus and select settings.
Non-volatile memory: Critical settings are saved even if the power is disconnected.
No cross platform confusion: The ME-RC remote is the same remote used on all Magnum inverter / charger models in the ME, MS, MS-PAE, RD, MM, and the MMS Series lines.
Multiple functional settings: The ME-RC offers multiple functions in one place, including: inverter on/off, charger on/off, shore power breaker settings, AGS control, meter button, simple setup, and technical menus.

ME-RSA-M REMOTE SWITCH ADAPTOR

The ME-RSA-M Remote Switch Adapter allows users to connect an external switch to remotely turn the inverter ON and OFF. The ME-RSA-M requires a “momentary” type of switch and allows multiple switches in different locations to turn the inverter ON and OFF.

This Remote Switch Adapter is simple to install and is designed to be used with inverters that provide a “stack/accessories” port. The ME-RSA-M cannot be used with the MS-PAE or MS-PE Series inverters.


ME-BMK BATTERY MONITOR KIT

Monitoring your battery bank is easy with the ME-BMK Battery Monitor Kit.  Acting as a “fuel gauge” for your batteries, the ME-BMK monitors their state of charge (SOC) and then provides this information in an easy-to-understand display via the ME-ARC or ME-RC remotes. With accurate SOC readings, you can avoid unnecessary battery recharging, saving on fuel and long-term maintenance costs.


ME-AGS-N AUTO GENERATOR START - NETWORK VERSION

With the ME-AGS-N you can set multiple parameters for starting and stopping the generator. Using the ME-RC Remote Control, the ME-AGS-N has basic adjustments starting on battery voltage or temperature. When using the ME-ARC Advanced Remote Control or the ME-RTR Router, the ME-AGS-N has advanced start and stop features, including battery voltage, time of day, AC amps, exercise time, and SOC.


ME-AGS-S AUTO GENERATOR START - STANDALONE VERSION

The ME-AGS-S is designed to automatically start your generator based on low battery condition or the inside room temperature.
Auto Gen Start settings do not interfere with the manual start / stop operation of the generator. Just use any existing start / stop switch for your generator.


ME-RTR ROUTER

The ME-RTR Router provides parallel capability for the MS-PE Series inverters and includes many of the same features as the ME-ARC advanced remote control.

The router is designed with a user-friendly LCD display and rotary SELECT knob that allows all connected MS-PE Series inverter/chargers to be programmed in sync without the need to program each inverter separately. The router will accommodate up to four MS-PE inverter/chargers in parallel plus accessories.


ME-RC-BZ BEZEL

The ME-RC-BZ allows users to surface or wall mount the ME-RC and ME-ARC remote controlS. The ME-RC-BZ comes standard with the ME-ARC. It must be purchased separately when purchasing the ME-RC.


MP-HOOD

The MP-HOOD a single-piece, powder-coated steel cover plate. It is designed to allow a Magnum inverter to be mounted vertically and prevent items from falling into the ventilation openings in the top of the inverter.

Phoenix Inverter Remote Panel

This panel is intended for Phoenix Inverters equipped with a UTP remote  monitoring and control socket. It can also be used on a MultiPlus  Inverter/Charger when an automatic transfer switch but no charger  function is desired. The brightness of the LEDs is automatically reduced  during night time. Only for models: 12/1200, 12/1600, 12/2000, 12/3000,  12/5000, 24/1200, 24/1600, 24/2000, 24/3000, 24/5000, 48/3000 and  48/5000.

Graphical System Controller

The Colour Control GX (CCGX) provides intuitive control and monitoring  for all products connected to it. The list of Victron products that can  be connected is endless: Inverters, Multis, Quattros, MPPT 150/70,  BMV-700 series...
